I'm currently working on a second novel titled I Thought God Would be Taller—a meta fiction project where narrative fiction meets stand-up comedy! The narrator navigates a world of controlled chaos while meta tangents follow their own bizarre logic that shouldn’t make sense but somehow do. With a plot that feels like it’s ready to implode on itself at any second, this story promises to be as funny as it is eccentric.

Update (August 16, 2026):

The front and back covers have been finalized. Here's what they look like:

Update (July 25, 2026):

I received the final proofread for this manuscript from a professional editor and received the following comments:

"I have to say that of all the books I’ve worked on over the last decade or so, this is one of my absolute favourites. The whimsical randomness and off-the-wall analogies made it a true pleasure to read."

"Just so you know, I have already laughed, and chuckled, and grinned more while proofreading this than I have all week."

"I absolutely love your narrative style."

"FYI: I’m resisting the urge to note all the instances of my chuckling approval as it would fill up your margins unnecessarily and slow down your review of the proofread, but just know that I’m fully on board with ALL of it."

Update (Feb 28, 2026):

The manuscript is currently with beta readers, and these are some of their comments:

"Enjoying the story and your writing style! It's funny."

"It was really good Dallas!! I read it in a day."

"I am enjoying it. It is making me laugh out loud a lot and I think others will be entertained as well."
